I am the Founding Director of AI MSS and a marine survey consultant specialising in the analysis and interpretation of geophysical data, with a track-record of involvement in nearshore and deep-water geophysical surveys. This is in respect to projects related to oil and gas, subsea cables and offshore windfarms with my output contribution being primarily relevant to the development of various desk-based studies and work-package reports that sought at supporting clients in securing permitting, phase clearance and project consensus.
Since 2017, I have been involved in consulting different national custodian agencies with my output contribution being primarily relevant to the implementation of national frameworks and the development of policy recommendations. I specialise in providing legal support around issues related to environmental and archaeological permitting in European and the Eastern Mediterranean more broadly and I have supported stakeholders, clients, contractors and subcontractors with advice in best adapting work-packages and operational activities according to the remedies of national and international law as per the county or countries in which they were conducting work in.
I have been involved in offshore development projects in the UK, Cyprus, Israel, Norway, Portugal and Greece with my output contribution being around permitting consensus or effectively developing the necessary progress reports for end-clients and stakeholders that were used to demonstrate the successful completion of pre-agreed work-package activities. I have been liaising with clients, governmental agencies and marine survey contractors for 7 plus years. I have experienced the offshore commercial sector from the perspectives of both the regulator and the client and at positions varying from consultant and client representative to offshore operations employee specialist.
